How to Round Numbers: 
Make a decision which is the last digit to keep. 
Go away it the similar if the next digit is fewer than 5. 
Other than increase it through 1 if the next digit is 5 or more. 
Rounding to the Nearest Thousandth-place Values

8.7275 

 Now 8 is the whole number value and ‘.’ Decimal notation and 7 is the tenth place value and 2 is the hundredth place value and 7 is the thousandths place value and 5 is the ten thousandths place value. 


Steps for rounding to the nearest thousandth:
Step 1:Initial we can recognize the position of the thousandths place value.
Step 2:Balance the thousandths position value and ten thousandths position value.Step 3:The value of ten thousandth position digits is larger than or equal to 5 we can put in 1 to the thousandths position value. or else just leave the number in thousandth position value.

Example 1:Rounding to the nearest thousandth 0.6437 
Solution:Now ten thousandth digit position value is 77 are larger than 5 so we can put in one to the previous digit that is thousandth digit. 
Therefore the answer is 0.644

Example 2:Rounding to the nearest thousandth 2.5326 
 Solution:Now ten thousandth digit position value is 66 are larger than 5 so we can put in one to the previous digit that is thousandth digit. 
 Therefore the answer is 2.533.

 Rounding to the nearest thousandth 5.7238
 Solution:Now ten thousandth digit position value is 88 are larger than 5 so we can put in one to the previous digit that is thousandth digit. 
 Therefore the answer is 5.724.
